November community events
Any events that need some air time, post it here! Want to talk about block parties, get advice from other neighbors (we're not just readers here at 60655, we're neighbors!), advertise that bake sale or lemonade stand, talk about whats good for us on St Pattys day it all goes here! This will be where we get information about going ons in the neighborhood. So voice your thoughts people...NOW GET TO BLOGGIN!

Army Spc Jared Stankers funeral services will be held sat.10:00am at Queen of Martyrs church.A lot of us still living in the neighborhood grew up with his parents.Was hoping we could line 103rd st holding flags out of respect for Jared and his family.

ReplyDeleteTown hall meeting will be November 12th 7 PM at the Chicago Ag School All city services will be in attendance to answer any questions as well as community organizations.

Now through December 11th we are accepting new toys for the Kids at Hope Childrens Hospital.
Our goal is to provide each child with a toy this Christmas. We have had so much community support already- so please help us reach our goal.
