Good Eats Around And In Mt.Greenwood


Here it is people. My very favorite past time besides throwing back my scotch and taking in a good cigar is some good eats. Breakfast-lunch-dinner let us know what your favorite food place is in the Mt.Greenwood area. Good food, bad food, good service, bad service, hair in your food (unless it's from MtgCutie :) and let us know about it! Now, go start eatin AND GET TO BLOGGIN!!!

  2. My favorites consist of: La Fiesta -Mexican. Chi Tung is good -Chinese. Nancy's Pizza -Pizza. Breakfast Club -Breakfast.

  4. I know this is NOT in Mt.Greenwood but Country House in Alsip has the BEST breakfast. It's on 127th.

  7. McDonalds on 95th... not by the hospital but right off the expressway... talk about some lip smackin good bbq McRib!!!

  8. Oh boss... Im not a big meat eater... Although I do like chicken wings and am sick of traveling for a good wing so if anyone has any recommendations I would really really appreciate it ;+) xoxo

  9. Patio, 91st and Harlem, for barbecued chicken and ribs. Reasonably priced and worth the drive. Pick up a bottle of Patio barbecue sauce to go.

  10. Vito and Nick's has the best pizza. Service is so-so f you get the 120 yr old waitress!

  11. Nino's Pizza for a good pie, cold beer and a place to let the little ones run wild. TaTa's is also very good. Best Mexican- Burrito Jalisco at 119th and Cicero. Best Chinese and Thai- Chi Tung. Best Shrimp Chipotle Salad- 115 Bourbon St.

  14. Richie's has a good prime rib. Best breakfast is Country House. As for best dessert, heard MtgCutie has some delicious pie! :)

  17. what is good at TaTa's? I have never eaten there and would like to try it. I have heard about the potato crust pizza. Any thoughts?

  18. Mary Carol, the pizza at TaTa's is outstanding, and I highly recommend getting the homemade brownies :) Never had the potato crust pizza but heard it was good!

  19. Bourbon Street is pretty good, and just across the border in Merrionette park. I'd give it about 3 out of 4 forks.

    quit letting the Ta-Ta's Pizza owners and family write about how good it is, it's average at best, not cheap, and Vito & Nicks IS the Best, bar none, they are known Nation-wide, ta'Ta's isn't even heard of, even all throughout Mt. Greenwood. Ta-Ta's employees, GIVE IT A REST ALREADY, POTATO PIZZA, HA-HA-HA-HA-HA, ONLY IN MT. GREASEWOOD.
