  6. KIDSHOP
Mount Greenwood Gifts presents "Kidshop" Give your child the opportunity to learn the joy of picking out, paying for, wrapping and giving Mom or Grandma or Aunt the gift that they have chosen with their own little hands. Here's how it works:
    1. Call MGG to make an apointment for your child or grandchild to shop. 773-233-4902 The appointment should take 15 to 20 minutes.
    2. Decide how much your child will be spending.
    3. Bring your child for his/her shopping trip!
    4. Your child will be asked 5 questions about the person he/she is buying for. (You will get to keep this-it's ALWAYS hilarious - my husband was 8'10" when our son was in kindergarten!)
    5. Your child will then chose a gift, pay for it, recieve the receipt and change and be assisted in boxing, wrapping, bows and signing the tag.
    6. You will be asked to wait outside the store while your child shops unless he/she prefers to have someone familiar at arms reach. Some children get a little scared and like to know a familiar face is there.
    7. If your child insists that you wait outside because he/she is a BIG boy or girl you will be notified that he/she is has completed their shopping and is ready to go! Now for a stop off to get a cup of hot chocolate!!!

  9. How is it that the creators of this blog can announce and support a HUGE company like Ben & Jerry's BUT a Mom opens a giftshop and she has to blog about that herself? Just shows you how things in this neighborhood need to change!
