Guess we gave too much credit thinking the Bears would score 20 some odd points... Cutler, Orton, Grossman, Griese, Hutchinson, Mcnown, etc etc IT DOESNT MATTER! I have watched this same game over and over for 20+ damn years! Whatever... Hand me another scotch! Now, GET TO BLOGGIN!

ReplyDeleteDon't give up just yet my waylon jennings lovin, scotch drinkin, blog nazi brother. I might just have to suspend your football watchin for 1 week. We have a good foundation here. Cutler made the pro bowl in his second year in the league. Do you know how hard that is. Elite QB's who have not done it. Manning, Brady, Brees, and even the "Favre". I watched that game closely, and I can honestly say that out of the 5 picks.........I can only blame him for 2. Hester fell, and Bennett along with Hester really need to learn how to run proper routes. BUT,,, we have a good foundation for the future. I'm not talking about Super Bowl. I'm talkin DYNASTY. A few things to consider in the off-season. Go after Boldin. He'll be an unrestricted F.A. Move Hester to #3 W.R./Punt Return. Sorry Angelo, but that's all he's good for. Work with Knox. He's got great hands and would make a solid #2. Oh, ANGELO, don't be afraid to use yor first 2 picks on O-Lineman, just make sure they don't have herniated discs. Now I know people will hate me for this one, but get rid of Urlacher. We should have never given him the money we did. Plus he's old (in regards to the NFL). Plus the novelty of a linebacker picking off dump passes up the middle has worn off. When it comes to linebackers, I want mean MOTHERF###ERS. Where tightend are afraid to catch the ball. Dansby, Merriman, Ruud are a few names to look at. Not to mention Peppers from Carolina will be out there. Like I said, I don't want a championship, I want a dynasty, and why not. New England & Pittsburgh has 'um and I say f### those east coast bastards. We have a great QB, a phenominal RB, a great fullback, and one hell of a punt returner.
