My deepest condolences to your entire family on the loss of your Dad Amanda. Although I never met him face to face, he seemed like a quite a character. In the short time that he ran this blog, he kept us entertained and touched all of our lives with his unique sense of humor.
He's safe in Gods hands now and probably has Him laughing out loud right now. He will be missed by everyone. May he "Rest in Peace."
Sorry for your loss....your dad seemed to care about the neighborhood, and I hope that everyone cared for him the same way. Thanks for all you've said and done for the community!
So odd that I'm so upset over the loss of someone that I've never met. I had been checking in, hopeful for a report of recovery and am very saddened by this news. Amanda, your family is in my prayers. I, too, lost my father- A wonderul, insightful, humorous gem of man. Much like I've guessed your Dad was. The world is a lesser place without them both, I'm sure. He will be missed by those of us whom he entertained with his wit and genuine concern for us as neighbors. Take good care and thanks for the little piece of your dad that was shared.
PLEASE FORWARD TO EVERYONE YOU HAVE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK THAT LIVES IN THE MT. GREENWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD.
I found a very nice dog around 103rd & Drake today. No collar, no tags. It was hungry, but doesn't appear to be a stray......very gentle. I'm going to keep it for a few days to see if anyone is looking for it before I take it to the animal shelter. I can be contacted via email at mcmahon351@aol.com
